Runs your RSS feed against the W3 RSS Validator and alerts you of any errors or warnings in a convenient dashboard widget. If either exist, a quick synopsis will explain the issues and provide a link to the W3 site for further explanation and possible fixes.
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Upload
wp-rss-validatorto the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to the dashboard and view results.
- Enjoy!

There are many reasons. Many times, it’s due to invalid characters or otherwise bad markup in the feed. Sometimes it’s embedded items.
