A simple plugin that allows blog owners on a multisite network to use a custom favicon by uploading it to the root of their theme directory. Ideal for people who host clients on their own multisite install or want to run multiple domains off of one install.

  1. Download “Network Favicons” from the WordPress plugin directory.
  2. Install network-favicons.php to your mu-plugins folder.
  3. Add a favicon to the root of your current theme.

Why would I want this Plugin?

As the owner of a multisite blog network, this plugin allows users to place a favicon in the root of their theme folder and automatically have it applied as the favicon for their site.
