The notice will display once and will set a cookie for 730 days (2 years). The plugin can be configured in the WordPress Admin Panel via Settings >> Electric Studio Cookie Notice Options.
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Upload
electric-studio-cookie-notice.phpto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Configure the plugin in the WordPress Admin Panel via Settings >> Electric Studio Cookie Notice Options.
The message isn’t styled up… Why?
Once you have activated the plugin you need to configure it. You can do this in the WordPress admin panel via Settings >> Electric Studio Cookie Notice Options.
The message only appears once… Why?
Correct, the plugin sets a cookie basically saying that the notice has been seen so don’t show it again. To see the message again simply clear your browsers cookie cache.
