This plugin does not collect or store any user data. It does not set any cookies, and it does not connect to any third-party locations. Thus, this plugin does not affect user privacy in any way.
Disable WP Robots is developed and maintained by Jeff Starr, 15-year WordPress developer and book author.
Installing the plugin
Activate like any other plugin and done. There are no settings, works automatically.

Uninstalling
To uninstall/remove the plugin, visit the Plugins screen, deactivate and delete the plugin. This plugin makes no changes to the WP database.
Many sites add meta tags via SEO plugins, theme enhancements, custom code, or whatever. So when WordPress adds another set of meta tags, there may be conflicting or redundant tags, which is not optimal for SEO.
This simple plugin disables the WP robots meta tag completely, so they will not interfere with existing meta robots configurations.
Yes just deactivate the plugin. When the plugin is not active, WordPress will return to default behavior and include the meta robots tag in your pages.
