DataAgent and AI Service Integration

DataAgent is a WordPress plugin that seamlessly connects your website to leading AI services—including OpenAI, Ollama, and OpenRouter. To use these services, you’ll need to provide your own API keys and comply with the terms and policies of each provider.

For example, if you choose OpenAI:

• Review their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Monitor your usage directly through the OpenAI usage dashboard.

We strongly recommend doing the same for Ollama and OpenRouter by reviewing their documentation, usage limits, and policies to ensure compliance.

How Your Data Is Used

When you use DataAgent to chat with your WooCommerce data, we only send a limited, pre-defined set of information to the AI provider you’ve chosen. This ensures your data remains secure and private.

You have full control and transparency. You can view exactly what data is being sent by checking the Resources tab right next to the chat interface.

Privacy & Control

• User-initiated only: Data is sent exclusively when you start a chatting.
• Minimal scope: Only the product fields listed above are transmitted—nothing more.
• Your choice of AI: You decide whether to use OpenAI, Ollama, or OpenRouter, and you remain in full control of your API keys and account.

By design, DataAgent ensures that your store data stays private, controlled, and only processed when you explicitly engage with the AI service.

Instruction :

• You can install the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repositories or
• Download the plugin and extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation
• Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
• Select AI Provider & Setup API Key Admin > DataAgent > Settings
• Start chatting by going to Admin > DataAgent
