How to Use 3D Viewer – Quick Start

Add your first model in under a minute:

  1. Go to 3D Viewer Add New in your WordPress dashboard.

Which 3D file formats does this plugin support?

3D Viewer supports .GLB, .GLTF, .OBJ, .STL, .FBX, .DAE, .PLY, and .3DS files.

Does 3D Viewer work with WooCommerce?

Yes. You can attach a 3D model to any product and it will display on the product page. The Pro version adds a 3D gallery with multiple models per product and per-variation models.

Does it support Augmented Reality (AR)?

Yes, and it is free – AR is included in the free version, no upgrade required. Models can be viewed in AR on supported mobile devices via WebXR, Scene Viewer (Android), and Quick Look (iOS). Desktop visitors can scan a QR code to open the model in AR on their phone. Turn it on with the Enable AR toggle in the Gutenberg block, the Elementor widget, or the shortcode generator, then pick the AR placement and mode.

Can I use this plugin with Elementor?

Yes, both an Elementor widget and shortcode support are built in.

Can visitors download my 3D model file?

Only if you let them. The download button is off by default – enable it per model from the Gutenberg block, the Elementor widget, or the shortcode settings.

Will 3D models slow down my website?

No. Models are lazy-loaded – they only load when visible on screen – and rendering is optimized for mobile and desktop.

Can I load models from external URLs like Amazon S3 or Google Drive?

Yes, loading models from external URLs (S3, Google Drive, CDNs, and more) is available in the Pro version.
